Author Visits

Children's author Dianne Ochiltree has been writing stories and poems since she was a kid growing up in a northeastern Ohio town.  Today, she shares her enthusiasm for creative writing with students of all ages in classroom visits, writing workshops and speaker presentations.  Dianne's critically-acclaimed picture books include LULL-A-BYE, LITTLE ONE, PILLOW PUP, TEN MONKEY JAMBOREE, and SIXTEEN RUNAWAY PUMPKINS.  She has also authored three titles in Scholastic's 'Hello, Reader!' series, and a young adult story included in the anthology, DON'T CRAMP MY STYLE:  STORIES ABOUT THAT TIME OF THE MONTH. Whether it's a small-group presentation to elementary school students on "how a story goes from an idea in a writer's head to a book on the shelf" or a teachers workshop on "writer's secrets that can be adapted for use in the classroom", audiences enjoy hearing Dianne talk about her life, her books and her creative process.
